Pension Reform

As the Mayor of Buena Park, CA.  I and the rest of the council support pension reform.  Our current general employees currently pay 2% into the pension plan.  Police 0.  We will ask at contract time for general employees to pay 8% and police 9%.  It's that or the danger of the city going bankrupt.

I retired from the County of Los Angeles 20 years ago.  I paid into that system and they still require that all employees pay their share. (no 3% at 50).
