As the mom of a 17 year old daughter, I couldn't imagine her having to go through something so traumatic as an abortion on her own. I am amazed and disgusted by the secrecy our doctors and nurses are subjected to. How many children ages 12 to 17 are mature enough to handle sex, birth control and abortion issues? Shouldn't we as parents be there to help our children through these things?
